From June Lake, this trail is located six miles South on HWY 395 towards Mammoth. You turn right on Obsidian Dome road before you begin going down Deadman’s Summit. There is some parking but it may become crowded on perfect days. There are many different groomed trails and loops, so make sure you review the posted trail map and pick the best route for your groups ability.

The busiest tourism season is Summer (June/July/Aug)
